Henry 'the Bold' Count of Stade and in the Heiangau's father was Lothar I Count of Walbeck and Stade and his mother was Swanhilde. His paternal grandparents were Lothar Count of Stade and Oda of Saxony. He was an only child. He was buried in monastery at Heeringen.¹¹
