Eckbert I Margrave of Middle Friesland was born about 1036.1 Eckbert I Margrave of Middle Friesland's father was Liudolf Count Of Brunswick and his mother was Gertrud Countess In Nordgau. His paternal grandparents were Bruno Count in the Derlingau and in Middle Freisland von Bru and Gisele Duchess of Swabia. He had a brother and two sisters, named Ekbert I Margrave, Agatha Von and Ida Countess Of. He was the youngest of the four children. He died on January 11th, 1068.1 General Notes
