John de Lacy 
John was born in 1192 in Cheshire,England. John's father was Roger de Lacie and his mother was Maud de Clare. His paternal grandparents were John Fitx Eustace Lacie and Alice de Manderville; his maternal grandparents were Richard de Clare and Amice Meullent. He was an only child. Pepin's wife was Bertha of Toulouse, descendant of Odo (Eudes), ally of Chilperic II and Charles Martel, Hero of Tours, France.
