Gilbert III de Clare

Gilbert III was born in 1180.  Gilbert III's father was Richard III de Clare and his mother was Amice FitzRobert.  His paternal grandmother was Maud de St. Hillary; his maternal grandparents were William FitzRobert and Hawise de Beaumont.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 50 in 1230.

‌Gilbert III and Isabelle were married in a religious ceremony on October 9th, 1217.  They had a son named Richard I.
