Matilda Ann Williams

Matilda Ann was born on February 9th, 1843.  Matilda Ann's father was Rial Williams and her mother was Orpha Garrett.  Her paternal grandparents were Philemon Williams and Lucy Green; her maternal grandparents were Moses Garrett and Phoebe Hunt. She had nine brothers and seven sisters, named Infant Boy, Philimon, Moses, Rial, Garrett, Thomas Martin, Robert, Warren, Green, Sena, Elizabeth, Nancy, Lucinda, Margaret, Phoebe and Orpha.  She was the youngest of the seventeen children. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Ervin, Burton Sanders and Infant Girl.  She died at the age of 37 on September 6th, 1880.

‌Matilda Ann and Andrew Jackson were married in a religious ceremony on March 11th, 1866.
