V , Duke of Aquitaine was born in 0969.¹   V , Duke of Aquitaine's father was IV , Duke Of Aquitaine William and his mother was Emma de BLOIS.  His paternal grandparents were III , Duke Of Aquitaine William and Adele of Normandy.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 61 in 1030.¹ 

They had two sons and two daughters, named VIII , Duke of Aquitaine, VII , Duke of Aquitaine, Agnes of and Beatrice of.
