Anne was born about 1691 in Norwalk,Fairfield,CT. Anne's father was *John Whitney and her mother was *Elizabeth Smith. Her paternal grandparents were *Henry Whitney and *Sarah Soloman; her maternal grandparents were *Richard Smith and *Bathsheba Roberts. She had six brothers and three sisters, named John, Joseph, Henry, Richard, Nathan, Josiah, *Elizabeth, Eleanor and Sarah. She was the fifth youngest of the ten children. She died on May 9th, 1773 in Sharon,Litchfield,CT.General Notes
