Joan West 
Joan was born in 1631 in Newport,RI. Joan's father was Matthew West. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas West and Elizabeth Sankey. She was an only child. She died at the age of 45 on April 24th, 1676 in Portsmouth,Newport,Rhode Island.
Joan and Joshua were married in a religious ceremony on December 22nd, 1652 in Halstead,Essex Co.,England. They had a daughter named Humility.
