William Waldrop 
William was born in 1774 in Spartanburg County,SC. William's father was Shadrack Waldrop and his mother was Martha Patsy Couch. His paternal grandfather was Michael III Waldrop; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Couch and Mary Ann. He had a brother and a sister, named Shadrack , Jr. and Martha Patsy. He was the oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 71 on December 12th, 1845 in Pickens County,SC.-
