James WALMSLEY

James was born on October 7th, 1804 in Samlesbury,Lncshr,Eng and his baptism took place on November 4th, 1804 in Samlesbury,Lancs,England.  James' father was Isaac Weaver WALMSLEY and his mother was Elizabeth C. HICKHAM (HIGHMAN). He had six brothers and five sisters, named John, William, James, Isaac, Henry, Richard, Ellen, Ellen, Anne, Ellen and Elizabeth.  He was the sixth youngest of the twelve children.
