Joshua was born on March 8th, 1855 in Plato,Texas,Mo..  Joshua's father was Henry Johnson VINCENT and his mother was Sidney Eliza Ann SELF.  His paternal grandparents were John H VINCENT and Anna (MASSEE); his maternal grandparents were Fountain SELF and Sarah (Robinson) SULLINS. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Henry Z., Samuel D., John Wesley, Peter Daniel, John Wesley, Obedience J., Nancy E., Ebbie Isabelle, Sarah, Martha and Jennie Lee.  He was the oldest of the twelve children.  He died at the age of 96 on February 28th, 1952 in Hydro,Caddo,Ok..  He was buried in Poage Cem,Caddo,Ok..

‌Joshua and Missouri T. were married in a religious ceremony on May 11th, 1879 in ,Laclede,Mo..  They had three sons named George, Jessie and John Lee.


Joshua's second family with Henrietta KENT

‌Joshua and Henrietta were married in a religious ceremony on May 14th, 1902 in Mena,Polk,Ark..  They had five sons and two daughters, and also two children of unknown gender, named Mack Daniel Sr., George Louis, Riley, Elisha, Woody Fountain, Melvina, Watie (Jackie), <Unknown> and <Unknown>.
