Gilbert was born in 1332 in Goodrich Castle,Blakemere,Herefordshire,England.1   Gilbert's father was Richard (IV) Talbot and his mother was Elizabeth Comyn.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 55 on April 24th, 1387 in Raoles,Spain.1
