Ruth Maria was born about 1833 in Washington Co.,Virginia. Ruth Maria's father was Andrew Jackson Surber and her mother was Eada or Elizabeth Harrel. Her paternal grandparents were Adam II Surber and Ruth Hubble. She was an only child. She died in 1870 in Cass Co.,Iowa.General Notes
