Jairus Sturdevant 
Jairus was born on July 16th, 1784 in Lyme,Grafton,NH. Jairus' father was Lemuel (Don) Sturtevant and his mother was Priscilla Thomson. His maternal grandparents were John Thompson and Lydia Wood. He had five brothers and seven sisters, named Cyril, Lemuel, Ezra T, Cyrus, Isaac Bryant, Priscilla, Mary (Polly), Huldah, Lucy, Sarah, Deborah and Lydia. He was the fourth oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 82 on May 8th, 1867.General Notes
