Samuel Strong General 
Samuel was born on July 17th, 1762 in Salisbury,CT. Samuel's father was John Strong Major General and his mother was Agnes McCure. His paternal grandparents were Noah Strong and Deborah Gleason; his maternal grandparents were John McCure and NN. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Asa, John , Jr., Luke, Moses, Cyrus, Noah, Polly, Electra, Chloe and Mabel. He was the second oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 70 on December 5th, 1832 in Vergennes,VT.-
