John III Strong 
John III's father was John II Strong Elder and his mother was Abigail Ford. His paternal grandfather was John Strong; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Ford and Elizabeth Chard. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Jedediah , Sr., Thomas, Return, Ebenezer, Samuel, Abigail, Elizabeth and Mary. He had a half-sister named Jane. He died in 1698.-
