Rhoda Ellen Shoemaker

Rhoda Ellen was born on September 28th, 1853.  Rhoda Ellen's father was Henry Allen Shoemaker and her mother was Esther Hunt.  Her paternal grandparents were Henry Shoemaker and Elizabeth Elliott. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Anselam W., David, Riley, William H., Robert Theidore, Simon E., Anna Esther, Emma Victoria, Florence R. and Sarah Alice. She had a half-brother named Pearly.  She died at the age of 36 on December 5th, 1889.

‌Rhoda Ellen and Charles W. were married in a religious ceremony on November 20th, 1879.

They had a son named Alvin.
