Rebecca's father was Benjamin Lawrence Sellman and her mother was Anne Powell. Her paternal grandparents were John Sellman and Martha ,Groce) Grosse (Grace; her maternal grandparents were John Powell and Mary--------. She had six brothers named Thomas, James, Jermiah, John, William and Zachariah. She died on August 10th, 1808.-
