George T. Scales 
George T. was born on February 19th, 1841. George T.'s father was William Levi Scales and his mother was Mariah Powers. His paternal grandparents were William Scales and Mary Skelton; his maternal grandparents were Isaac H. Powers and Abigail Davis. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Isaac Jackson, John A., Hannah Elizabeth and Nancy A.. He was the second youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 79 on September 30th, 1920. He was buried in Old Friendship Cemetery.-
