John SPROTT

John was born on April 10th, 1771 in South Leith,Midlothian,Scotland and his baptism took place on April 26th, 1771 in Sth Leith,Edinburgh,Midlothian,Scotland.  John's father was John SPROTT and his mother was Elizabeth HAMILTON.  His paternal grandparents were John SPROTT and Janet ESPLINE; his maternal grandparents were John HAMILTON and Janet PRATT. He had six sisters named Janet, Marion, Mary, Jean, Margaret and Helen. He had a half-sister named Helen.
