Thomas III Root Deacon 
Thomas III was born on April 13th, 1667. Thomas III's father was Thomas , Jr. Root and his mother was Abigail Alvord. He was an only child. He died at the age of 89 on November 13th, 1756 in Coventry,CT.General Notes
One of the first two deacons of the First Church in Coventry and a selectman and town clerk for 12 years.
‌Thomas III and Thankful were married in a religious ceremony. They had two sons named Thomas IV and Ebenezer.

Thomas IV was born on July 29th, 1692. He died at the age of 90 on December 2nd, 1782.
