Elizabeth was born on April 20th, 1797. Elizabeth's father was Bright Pruett and her mother was Annister. Her paternal grandparents were Michael Pruett and Elizabeth Bright. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Eli, James, Michael, William, Phoebe, Matilda, Mahala, Nancy and Hannah. She was the fourth oldest of the ten children. She had three half-sisters named Catherine C., Margaret E. and Anna Crow.-
