Frances Prewitt, born 1792, Halifax Co., VA. In about 1819, married Henry Smith (b. 1785; d. 12/10/1853, Union Co., SC). Died 11/18/1853.

Lucinda Prewitt. Married Abner Vice, son of John Vice and Frances Roebuck, and. brother of John Roebuck Vice who married Martha Prewitt. Their children were: Calvin Vice (b. about 1827, Spartanburg Co., SC), Starling Vice (b. about 1828, Spartanburg Co., SC), Rhoda Vice (b. about 1832, Spartanburg Co., SC), Memory Vice (b. 2/12/1834; d. 7/16/1909), S. Vice (b. 1836, Randolph Co., AL), Hosea Vice (b. 1838, Randolph Co., AL).

Elizabeth Prewitt. Married Henry Palmer (how does he connect to our Palmers??). Their known child: John Palmer (d. 1863, killed "by the Bert Hayes Gang on a trip with an Uncle Palmer")
