Louis Martin Powers 
Louis Martin was born on July 14th, 1860. Louis Martin's father was George Powers and his mother was Sarah Ann Scales. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Powers and Levina LeMasters; his maternal grandfather was John Scales. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Andrew Jackson, Thomas Jefferson, Melvin Adophus (Dolph), Ernest Adrain, Malena Caroline and Laura Alice. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 42 on June 5th, 1903. He was buried in Log Creek Cem. Pike Co. Indiana.-
