Jacob Powers 
Jacob was born on October 11th, 1837. Jacob's father was Marsham (Massa) Powers and his mother was Jane Holmes. His paternal grandparents were Isaac H. Powers and Abigail Davis. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Isaac Holms, Jackson, James, Samuel M., Indiana, Lavina Jane, Margaret (Peggy) and Hannah Mathewson. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 35 on October 11th, 1872. He was buried in Freedom Cem. Warrick County,IN.-
