George Thomas Powers 
George Thomas' father was George Wesley Powers and his mother was Nancy Jane Phillips. His paternal grandparents were Isaac Powers and Philenia Rice; his maternal grandparents were Matthew Phillips and Mary Edwards. He had four brothers and three sisters, named John Franklin, Isaac M., William S., Abraham N., Mary P., Anna and Sophronia J.. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named John A., Hulda E. and Ella L.. He died on February 25th, 1937 in Tennyson,Indiana. He was buried in Little Zion Cemetery.-
