Bazzil L. was born in November 1865 in Spencer County,Indiana. Bazzil L.'s father was John A. Powers and his mother was Margaret E. Spradley. His paternal grandparents were Charles Powers and Mary (Polly) Jones. He had two brothers named Albert E. and William R.. He had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named William, James N., Charles, Edward, Agnes and Georgia. He died at the age of 72 on February 19th, 1938 in Selvin,Warrick County,Indiana.-
