Alvin Levi Powers 
Alvin Levi was born on December 6th, 1853. Alvin Levi's father was Jackson Powers and his mother was Margaret Skaggs. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Powers and Levina LeMasters. He had a brother named Ordello. He was the older of the two children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Louis F., Mary C. and Arminda Jane. He died at the age of 48 on October 2nd, 1902. He was buried in Lynnville Cemetery.General Notes
He started teaching at age 17. Taught till 1883 when he began merchandising.
