Thomas Plantagenet Duke 
Thomas was born in Woodstock Palace,Oxfordshire,England. Thomas' father was III Edward and his mother was Philippa Of Hainault Countess. His paternal grandparents were Edward II Plantagenet and Isabelle Capet. He had two brothers named Edmund Of and Duke John Of. He died on September 8th, 1397 in Prince's INN,Calais France. He was buried in Collegiate Church of the Holy Trinity.General Notes

He was executed (by smothering) at the order of his nephew, the King
and all his property seized by King Richard II; Thomas's remains
were moved enough times that Eleanor wished it to be known that she wanted her
remains to be left alone
Knighted by his father at Windsor on 23 April 1377; in 1380 he was given
custody of Mary de Bohun, the younger sister of his wife
!BURIAL: First buried in the College of Cannons-regular, which he had founded
at Pleshy; from there King Richard had his remains dug up and removed to
Westminster Abbey and placed under a monument of marble inlaid with brass;
later his body was removed to the Chapel of the Kings near the shrine of St
Edward.
