Eleanor was born in 1122 in Bordeaux,France.  Eleanor's father was William VIII Or X and her mother was Eleanor De Chatellerault.  Her paternal grandparents were William VII Or IX and Philippa Maud. She had a brother and a sister, named William and Petronilla. She had two half-brothers named Jocelin and William.  She died at the age of 82 on March 31st, 1204 in Fontevrault,France.  She was buried in Anjou.


Eleanor's first family with Louis VII The Young

‌Eleanor and Louis VII were married in a religious ceremony on July 25th, 1137 in Bordeaux,France.  Their marriage was annulled.  They had two daughters named Marie and Alice.


Eleanor's second family with Henry II Plantagenet

‌Eleanor and Henry II were married in a religious ceremony on May 18th, 1152 in Bordeaux,Whitsuntide.  They had five sons and three daughters, named William, Henry The Young King, Richard I, Geoffrey, John, Matilda, Eleanor and Joanna.
