Amos Northrup

Amos was born in 1766 in Milford,New Haven,Connecticut.¹ Amos' father was Abel Northrup and his mother was Susannah Camp. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Northrup and Ruth Allen; his maternal grandparents were Caleb Camp and Mary Northrup. He had six brothers and four sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Caleb Camp, Lazarus, John, Joseph, Andrew, Abel Allen, Mary, Sarah, Susanna, Hannah and Child. He was the fourth youngest of the twelve children.¹
