Ralph was born in 1364 in Castle Raby,England.1 Ralph's father was John of Raby Nevill 3rd Earl and his mother was Maud Percy. His paternal grandparents were Ralph of Raby Nevill 2 Baron and Alice Audley. He had a brother and a sister, named Thomas of Furnival and Eleanor. He was the second oldest of the three children.
