Jesse McQueary 
Jesse was born on May 20th, 1800 in Reddies River,Wilkes County,NC. Jesse's father was William McQueary and his mother was Nancy Ann Shepherd. His paternal grandparents were John Macquarrie and Miranda Stout; his maternal grandparents were Robert Shepherd and Sarah Rash. He had five brothers and four sisters, named John, Allen, Pleasant, William, Humphry, Polly, Sarah, Rebeccah and Nancy. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children.-
