John MOTT

John was born on December 25th, 1698 in Lyme,N-Lndn,Connecticut. John's father was Samuel MOTT and his mother was Mary (Marah) BROCKWAY. His paternal grandparents were Nathaniel MOTT and Hanna SHOOTER; his maternal grandparents were Wolston BROCKWAY and Hannah BRIGGS. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Samuel, Nathaniel, Mary, Hannah, Deborah, Experience and Lidea(Lydia). He was the fourth oldest of the eight children.
