Luitgarde of Luxembourg was born about 0963.1 Luitgarde of Luxembourg's father was Siegfried, Count of Luxembourgh and her mother was Hedwig von Nordgau. She had a brother and two sisters, named Friedrich I, Count of Luxembourg, Eva of Luxembourg and Kunigunde of Luxembourg. She was the second oldest of the four children.
