John Philip Klingensmith 
John Philip was born on March 31st, 1725 in Lutzelstein,Elsass-Lothringen,Gremany. John Philip's father was George or Daniel Klingensmith and his mother was Anna Christina Reitenauer. His paternal grandfather was Joseph Klingensmith. He had two brothers and three sisters, named John Peter, Andrew, Balazier, Hannah and Mary Margaret. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 56 on July 2nd, 1781 in Klingensmith Blockhouse,Hemfield,Westmoreland Co,Pa..General Notes
