Thomas was born in 1835 in of Port Philip,Melbourne,Victoria,Australia. Thomas' father was Arthur Kemmis and his mother was Aphra Raymond. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Kemmis Reverend and Mary Riky. He had two brothers and a sister, named Arthur, Henry and Aphrasia. He died at the age of 62 on March 23rd, 1897.General Notes
