Lewis George Nicholas was born on November 21st, 1870 in of Ballycarroll,Kilteale,Leix,Ireland. Lewis George Nicholas' father was William Kemmis Colonel and his mother was Ellen Gertrude de Horne Steinman. His paternal grandparents were George Kemmis Reverend and Caroline Olphert. He had five brothers named William Henry Olphert, Arthur George, Marcus Steinman |Kemmis-, Edward Bernhard and Gilbert. He was the third youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 76 on April 6th, 1947.General Notes
