John William Henry was born on July 19th, 1867 in of Corrigeen,Offerlane,Leix,Ireland. John William Henry's father was John Olphert Kemmis Captain and his mother was Mary Louisa Needham. His paternal grandparents were George Kemmis Reverend and Caroline Olphert. He had two brothers and two sisters, named George Richard, Charles Edward, Helen Valetta and Maude Mary.
