Mary was born in of Llanfair Disg,Caer-went,Monmouthshire,England. Mary's father was Nicholas II Kemeys Sir Barone and her mother was Jane Williams. Her maternal grandparents were Rowland Williams Sir Knight and Cecily Mansel. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Charles, William, Florence, Rachel and Cecily.
