Bessie Pearl Hughes 
Bessie Pearl was born on July 9th, 1895 in Concordia,Cloud Co.,KS. Bessie Pearl's father was Benjamin Franklin Hughes and her mother was Elizabeth Eunice Duncan. Her paternal grandparents were William I. Hughes and Mahala Rodgers. She had four brothers and three sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Homer, Claude, Willard, Jessie, Stella, Bertha, Isola Ethel and infant. She was the fourth youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 35 on May 18th, 1931.-
