Edward John was born in of Muckross,Killarney,Kerry,Ireland. Edward John's father was Thomas Herbert Esquire and his mother was Anne Martin. His paternal grandparents were Edward Herbert and Frances Browne. He had a brother and five sisters, named Henry Arthur, Anne, Mary, Emily, Catherine and Frances. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Thomas, Francis, Elizabeth and Cherry. He died in 1810. He was buried in ,Overbury,Worcestershire,England.General Notes
