James HAMMOND

James' baptism took place on July 1st, 1776 in Arkesden,Essex,England.  James' father was William HAMMOND and his mother was Sarah WOOTEN. He had two brothers and two sisters, named John, William, Ann and Sarah. He had four half-brothers and a half-sister, named Robert, John, Thomas, Timothy and Sarah.
