John Gentry 
John was born about 1755. John's father was David Gentry and his mother was Sarah Brooks. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Gentry and Ann Allen UNKNOWN. He had eight brothers named William, Hezekiah, Elisha, Elijah, Nicholas, David, Simon and Allen Cain. He was the third youngest of the nine children.
