*Maud was born about 1124 in Gloucester,England. *Maud's father was *Robert de Caen and her mother was *Maud\Mable Syble FitzRobert. Her maternal grandparents were *Robert FitzHamon and *Sibyl de Montgomery. She had six brothers and two sisters, named Roger, Hamon, William Mafonache, Philip, Richard, Robert, Mable and Emma. She died on July 29th, 1189 in Chester,Cheshire,England.
*Maud and *Ranulph were married in a religious ceremony about 1141 in Gloucester,England. They had two sons and two daughters, named Richard, *Hugh , Earl of Chester, Joanna and Beatrix.
