James ERSKINE 
James was born about 1572 in Of Tullibody. James' father was Alexander ERSKINE KNIGHT and his mother was Margaret HOME. His paternal grandparents were John ERSKINE Baron Erskine and Margaret CAMPBELL. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, Alexander, Archibald, George, Mary, Margaret, Jean and Christian. He died before July 8th, 1643.General Notes
