James Clark Cunard 
James Clark was born on February 8th, 1853. James Clark's father was John Cunard and his mother was Nancy Johnson. His paternal grandparents were Edward Cunard and Judith Hirst; his maternal grandparents were George Johnson and Susanna. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Elbert, Newton, Henry, Susan A., Eliza Jane, Sarah Ann, Caroline and Marthena. He was the youngest of the nine children. He had three half-brothers and seven half-sisters, named Columbus, John , Jr., Mathias, Manervia Ann, Frances N., Jumina, Eveline, Mary, Matilda and Nancy.-
