Theobald II was born about 1085.  Theobald II's father was Stephen Of Blois and his mother was Adela Of Normandy.  His paternal grandparents were Theobald III and Gundrada; his maternal grandparents were William I The Conqueror and Maud Matilda Of Flanders. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Stephen, Henry, Eudo, Humbert, William, Philip, Adela, Agnes, Alice, Maud and Eleanor. He had a half-sister named Emma.  He died on January 8th, 1152 in Ligny.

‌Theobald II and Maud were married in a religious ceremony in 1126.  They had four sons and a daughter, named Henry I, William, Theobald III, Stephen and Adela Of Champagne.
