Rose Ellen ( Nellie) was born on December 6th, 1883. Rose Ellen ( Nellie)'s father was Arthur Clingingsmith and her mother was Esther Klingensmith. Her paternal grandparents were Philip Clingingsmith and Elizabeth Pavin; her maternal grandparents were Simon Peter Klingensmith and Esther Smail. She had six brothers and two sisters, named George, William Arthur, Simon Sylvester, Benjamin Franklin, Earl Everett, Jesse Alvin, Esther Ann and Bessie M. E.. She was the fifth oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 73 on March 23rd, 1957 in Onida,Sully,South Dakota.-
