Peter Clark

Peter was born on November 11th, 1759 in Tranent,East Lothian,Scotland and his baptism took place on November 11th, 1759 in Tranent,Midlothian,Scotland.  Peter's father was John Hesher Clark and his mother was Helen KEPPIE.  His paternal grandparents were James CLARK or CLERK and Alison CLAPPERTON. He had six brothers and six sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named James, James, John, John, William, Thomas, Elizabeth, Helen, Alison, Jean, Janet, Agnes and Katharine.  He was the oldest of the fourteen children.  He died at the age of 44 on January 12th, 1804 in Nth Leith,Midlothian,Scotland.

‌Peter and Helen were married in a religious ceremony about 1791 in ,Midlothian,Scotland.  They had two daughters named Margaret Ann Stuart and Sophia Scot.
